Ohio Means Jobs has started creating Career Pathways for different careers within the 16 different career clusters. The site is adding new career pathways all the time so these links will be updated as new ones come out.
Each cluster has the careers associated with it in a PDF document. Each career will have two pages. The first page shows the actual pathway with careers listed at each level with useful information. The second page shows the example courses of study for high school and post-secondary years to help guide course selection during these years.

Looking to start your career right out of high school? Maybe you have been out of school for a while and are looking for a challenging new career. Either way this may be the opportunity for you! Earn while you learn in the GROB Apprenticeship Program. Our program features on-the-job training, a hands-on learning environment, and a company-paid college degree. GROB works with Rhodes in LIma to provide a 2-year degree program. |

Job Shadowing provides students with an opportunity to experience and explore careers that they may be interested in exploring. It is also a great resource to gather valuable knowledge, planning, and to make networking connections which can be invaluable later in a student's career activities.

TIPS:
- Know what your goals are. The primary reason for Job Shadowing is for an individual to investigate a specific career field to help make informed career decisions later.
- Identify your potential contact person that has the information or experience you need.
- Prepare for your experience and have topics/questions ready, as well as plan out your attire and what if anything you may need to bring with you.
- Obtain additional contacts before the end of your Job Shadowing experience. This will help you plan out your next experiences.
- Thank your contacts after your experience
